Algo IP Endpoint Supervisor for On-premise Enterprise Deployments

The 8028 SIP Doorphone (G2) is a PoE IP intercom for hands-free visitor communication at a secure entrance door or gate. This IP intercom / doorphone is outdoor-rated and is also a fully compliant 3rd party SIP endpoint. As a result, the 8028 is compatible with most hosted / cloud and premise-based VoIP telephone systems.

Powered via PoE and UL/CSA, FCC and CE certified, this doorphone kit includes a controller, an intercom station with stainless steel faceplate, and a surface mount bracket for wall mounting. The intercom station can also be flush mounted into a double gang box (not included). Mounting gaskets are also included in the kit for installing the intercom in any outdoor environment. A brass faceplate is available for separate purchase. A vandal-proof version is also available: Algo 8028V Vandal-Proof IP Doorphone (Controller + Intercom).

The 8300 Algo IP Endpoint Supervisor (Controller) is UL/CSA, FCC and CE certified.

Description

Centralized Supervision & Monitoring

The 8300 provides supervision and monitoring of Algo IP endpoints, and to notify / alert when a device is not unreachable or offline. Configuration options include playing an alert via multicast and/or audio output. Alternatively, a SIP call to a target extension can be configured to play a message as an alert. In either scenario email alerts can be simultaneously configured. Any number and combination of Algo IP speakers, paging adapters and strobe lights can be part of an RTP multicast for notification purposes, where multicast zones can direct alerts to specific locations as desired.

In addition to offline status, other device status conditions visible via the 8300 dashboard include: online, software failure, SNMP disabled, and warning if the Controller is trying to reach the device. Monitoring intervals are also configurable.

Email alerts can also be configured in the 8300 for disconnected devices and heartbeat monitoring, even if no devices are offline.

Device details such as IP address, MAC address, Algo part no. and username of the device are also displayed in the dashboard, providing a convenient high-level summary of all Algo endpoints deployed. Up to 350 endpoints are currently supported.
