8507 IP Horn Array Speaker

Louder than your loudest environments

The Algo 8507 IP Horn Array Speaker is a highly durable wideband speaker designed to deliver clear, intelligible audio in reverberant, loud environments. Installed vertically, the 8507 creates a dispersion pattern with narrow vertical and wide horizontal coverage.

Made to withstand harsh weather events, the 8507 is IPX9-rated and functions in temperatures from -40°F/-40°C to 122°F/50°C.

Key Features:

  • Designed to have narrow vertical and wide horizontal coverage for directional sound
  • Up to 137 dB
  • Wideband audio
  • IPX9-rated
  • Configurable via web interface

Description

Extremely loud, directional audio

With seven high-powered horn speakers, the 8507 provides superior wide-area coverage and can reach volumes of up to
137dB. This outdoor-rated speaker is designed to deliver powerful audio in environments such as airports,
warehouses, or factories.

Directional Sound

The 8507 is installed vertically to create a dispersion pattern with narrow vertical and wide horizontal coverage for directional sound. The dispersion pattern ensures that sound is effectively delivered while minimizing feedback, reflections, and uneven coverage.

Wideband Audio

The 8507 supports wideband audio (G.722 HD voice codec). Wideband audio expands frequency response to improve intelligibility, ensuring messages are understood.

Wideband Audio

Reaching volumes of 137 dB, the 8507 can emit sound levels equal to a jet engine at takeoff. Use the speaker in outward-facing clusters around a central location, like a pole, for 360-degree loud-audio coverage.

Made to withstand harsh weather events

Designed to take on the toughest outdoor environments, the 8507 is IPX9-rated for use in torrential rain and snowstorms and can withstand temperatures from -40ºC to +50ºC.

IPX9 Rating

IP ratings grade the resistance of an enclosure against the intrusion of dust or liquids. An IPX9 rating signifies that the horn speaker is fully protected against high-pressure and high-temperature water jets from any direction.

Extreme Temperature-Resistant

The 8507 can withstand temperatures from -40ºC to +50ºC. In these harsh weather environments, the IP Horn Array Speaker will retain functionality without quality or power loss.

Protective Covering

The modular design, which includes a wiring shroud, allows for easy cable connection with a water-tight seal. Wiring shrouds minimize the risk of dirt or foreign substances gathering on the cable and point of cable-to-cable interface.

Flexible deployment and integration

Deploy and integrate the 8507 with ease using the Algo web interface or ADMP. The hardware is mounted vertically and can be tilted downward from 5 to 35 degrees in 5-degree increments for flexible positioning.

Cloud-Based Management

Manage the Algo 8507 via the Algo web interface or ADMP, the Algo cloud-based device management platform. ADMP allows organizations to access endpoints from anywhere at any time, streamlining the management process.

SIP-Compliant IP Device

The Algo 8507 is SIP-compliant and compatible with most IP-based systems. Compared to analog speakers, IP endpoints like the Algo 8507 provide flexibility and simplify customization, scaling, and usage.

Flexible Positioning

The 8507 is mounted vertically and can be tilted downward from 5 to 35 degrees in 5-degree increments for positioning flexibility. The Algo 8507PMB Pole Mount Bracket may be purchased for horizontal rotation when mounted on poles or similar cylindrical structures (coming soon).

InformaCast Compliant

The Algo 8507 IP Horn Array Speaker is also sold as the Algo 8507-IC IP Horn Array Speaker, a fully InformaCast Compliant version of the device. All Algo InformaCast IP endpoints are fully compliant to register seamlessly with Singlewire InformaCast for emergency notification and public address. The Algo 8507-IC together with other InformaCast endpoints are scalable to meet the needs of any size project.

All features and specifications of the Algo 8507 IP Horn Array Speaker remain in the Algo 8507-IC Horn Array Speaker.
