New CompletePBX Release – 5.2.25

In this release: API and usability improvements, system improvements, and bug fixes.

If you are upgrading a Spark system, you may ignore the special instructions.
For any other system of version 5.0.59 or lower please perform the following steps:

1. run
yum install xorcom-centos-release

2.  run
yum update

This will ensure the system will be updated from the correct repositories.

 

PBX Improvements

    • Delete CDR script (in Task Manager) can now also delete the linked call recording on a remote server (such as S3 remote storage). To set such a new “-D” option was added. Change code for paging & intercom – it is now possible to change the code without deleting and recreating the paging/intercom record.
    •  
    • Parking lot defaults changes – a new parking lot created now has the same default parameters as the default parking lot of the system. Extension sorting changed for better usability.

API

  • The modify_extension() function now allows changing any extension parameter and is no longer limited to specific parameters.
    New API capabilities:

    • add/destroy EPM device
    • assign/remove an SIP device to an EPM device
    • retrieve an endpoint model
    • find/get singular/get all EPM templates
    • Call Recording configuration
    • External storage providers management

System

  • Improvements in error messages to assist in troubleshooting.
    It is now possible to smoothly install CompletePBX 5 on Debian 12.
    Validation mechanism improvements.

Bug Fixes

Trunk Custom Settings defaulted to “Friend” after saving.
Recordings remain on /tmp/ on the Custom recording application.
Some error messages are not displayed.Supervision redirect to email doesn’t work (v.5.1.15-5.2.24).
Cloud Call Recording – in some cases upload to Cloud Call Recording stops.
