New Zero Touch Provisioning Module

  • A new Zero touch module was added to Endpoint Manager
  • The module allows for zero-touch configuration of new phones out of the box.
  • How it works:
    • Set up the system Host (SETTINGS -> Endpoint Manager -> Host Settings).
    • Set up the devices associated with the system using either Device Mapping or Import Devices
    • Go to the new Zero Touch module and click Start to synchronize your setup with the zero-touch server.
    • Take the phone out of the box and connect to the internet
    • Done!

Improved Audit Log

  • The audit log, downloadable via ADMIN -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics, now contains more information:
      • Apply changes events
      • Setup Admin Password events

Automatic Host Setting

  • A default host will now be automatically set to HTTPS in tenant systems, so the administrator doesn’t need to manually set it up.

Wakeup Calls

  • Spanish prompt added for remote wakeup call.
  • Caller ID – the extension number is now shown as the CID number. The full CID will be: “Wakeup-Call” <extension>

Diversions for External Calls Only

  • It is now possible to define diversions to external calls only for most diversions.
  • Extension Status – improved layout of Actions popup
    • Extensions Status icons now indicates when the extension is defined for external only by a blue checkmark
    • Bulk Modifications – adjusted to support the External Only diversions option

Email Notifications

    • It is now possible to set the “from” name on email notifications.
    • To set up go to ADMIN -> System Settings -> System Misc -> Notifications.

LLDP Settings for Xorcom and Htek Phones

  • In Endpoint Manager the settings name was changed from P5438/para/Active to P5438/NW_LLDP/Active
  • The default is now Enabled

Bug Fixes

  • Dynamic queue agents are not able to log in/log out. (Affected version: 5.2.14)
  • No ring-back when calling from outside to a ring group when the service provider doesn’t support the “early media” SIP feature.
  • Can’t add users to Application Access (Debian 11 only)
  • PNP not working for Xorcom and Htek phones
  • Some codec combinations did not honor the order set by the user
  • CFx to external fails when the call came from another extension and Use Incoming CID = yes
  • The Intrusion Detection dialog does not validate ban time values. This could cause IP addresses not to be banned in case the value set is higher than the max allowed. Now it would not be possible to set such values.
