Established in 1996, Micro Village Communications Private Limited is a privately held company that specializes in the sales and distribution of voice, video and data IP products specific to communication and security.
Over the years, the company has evolved and is now focused on the networking and telecom industry. Currently, Micro Village has emerged as a niche technology distribution company.
Currently, Micro Village is headquartered in Bengaluru, India and we have 9 branch offices spread across different parts of India.
Microvillage has recently completed its 23rd year anniversary and during its journey had acclaimed more accolades from service provider customers and partners equally as “the most Reliable and Trustworthy” Company to do business with.
In 1996, at a time where India was just being exposed to internet privatization, Micro Village began as the sole authorized distributor of USRobotics which was then the world’s leading modem brand. Due to the demand for narrowband internet solutions, USRobotics was also successfully rated as the top brand in India by both the service provider industry and the end market user.
Micro Village is recognized as the first company to support, supply, install and implement Remote Access Servers to Satyam Infoway – India’s first private ISP in the year 1998, amidst fierce competition from top brand integrators. After winning the confidence of Satyam Infoway, we then proceeded to win deals from VSNL, TATA internet, BSNL, MTNL amongst other companies. This propelled Micro Village to holding 80% of the class A ISP market in relation to the supply of access products.
From the very beginning, we at Micro Village have believed that to stay relevant we must constantly grow and evolve according to the technology and market. Owing to this belief, Micro Village added networking products of Linksys in 1997 and later 3Com in the year 2000. Trango Broadband was further added to the list of wireless products. With advancements in technology, our company branched out into IP applications by choosing VoIP – the emerging technology of the early 2000s, making Micro Village the distributing partner of major brands like Quintum, Grandstream & Digium.
Micro Village’s strength in sales and distribution is linked to its focus on providing value addition to its partners by offering end-to-end solutions, backed by its strength of technology access and organizing various roadshows, workshops, partner meets, telecom, and technology shows for our channel partners throughout India. Staying true to our principles and values has catapulted Micro Village to winning numerous accolades by distributing the best brands throughout the country.
