CompletePBX 5.1.26.2 – PBX Software Updates

In this update: A fix for a regression problem that was introduced in v.5.1.26 that interprets not correctly some characters (e.g., ?, ;, @) if they are defined in the SIP device password field.

IMPORTANT NOTE! When upgrading from version 5.0.59 or older, follow the following procedure (click to expand)

If you are upgrading a Spark system, you may ignore the special instructions.
For any other system of version 5.0.59 or lower please perform the following steps:

1. run
yum install xorcom-centos-release

2.  run
yum update

This will ensure the system will be updated from the correct repositories.

Bug Fixes

This version solves the problem of IP phones not being able to register after upgrading to v.5.1.26.
The problem was caused in SIP devices with passwords that contain some specific characters (e.g., ?, ;, @).
Updating the system will allow the devices to register normally without any further action needed on the users’ side.
