New CompletePBX Release – 5.2.10

In this release: caller ID prefixes for specific call types, hiding extensions from phonebook, phone provisioning, quick hotdesking login and more.

If you are upgrading a Spark system, you may ignore the special instructions.
For any other system of version 5.0.59 or lower please perform the following steps:

1. run
yum install xorcom-centos-release

2.  run
yum update

This will ensure the system will be updated from the correct repositories.

 

PBX Improvements

  • Hide extension from phonebook – this new feature allows setting up an extension not to show in the PBX phonebook:
  • “Returned from call transfer” indication – it is now possible to set a prefix that indicates calls that were returned from transfer so that the recipient will be able to determine whether the call is a new call or a returned call.
    The setting is done in SETTINGS -> System General -> GENERAL -> Transfer settings.

  • Service agreement expiration notification was removed from the user portal. The notification will only be shown on the admin portal.
  • Grandstream IP phones provisioning – it is now possible to set custom timezones for Grandstream GRP P64.
  • Hot desking extension login – it is now possible to direct-dial into an extension by using a string dialing of the feature code, extension, and password, e.g. *80*EXT*PASS.This allows, for example, setting up BLF buttons for quick login for different users on the device.

Bug Fixes

    • Complete Concierge services stopped working due to a licensing issue (affected version: 5.2.9)
    • Complete Concierge logging stops after log rotation in some circumstances.
    • No CID on reminder calls.
