New CompletePBX Release – 5.2.27

In this release: Improved hospitality support, call center reporting, IP phone provisioning usability, security, APIs and Rapid Recovery backup and restore features, as well as bug fixes.

If you are upgrading a Spark system, you may ignore the special instructions.
For any other system of version 5.0.59 or lower please perform the following steps:

1. run
yum install xorcom-centos-release

2.  run
yum update

This will ensure the system will be updated from the correct repositories.

 

PBX Improvements

Hospitality

    • Room status on Rooms tab:  it is now possible to see the room status and guest name in the Rooms tab (Settings -> Hospitality -> PMS Interface -> Rooms):
    • Added support for the ‘SO’ fields in the ‘PS’ requests of the FIAS protocol.

Wakeup Calls Module

    • A new Wakeup Calls module is now available under Setting -> Hospitality:
      • Set room wakeup calls via the CompletePBX GUI
      • Delete scheduled wakeup calls
      • Set recurring wakeup calls
      • See history and status

    Note:  The Wakeup Calls module requires the Complete Concierge hospitality license.

Call Center Reports – StatExplorer

    • More detailed IVR reporting:  IVR report now shows a detailed table of clicks on each call at each IVR menu

IP Phone Provisioning – Endpoint Manager

    • New and improved Device Mapping layout:
      • Collapsable Devices cells make the view cleaner and more user-friendly
      • Added number designation to the device cells to make it easier to know what is being programmed

Security

    • Username login is now case-sensitive

API

    • A new API function allows sending the setup emails to all CloudPhone Mobile and Desktop users.
    • CDR – New API functions
      • configure_cdr_settings allows configuring the CDR Settings parameters.
      • cdr_settings allows getting the current CDR Settings
    • Intrusion Detection – New API functions
      • Retrieve Intrusion Detection – via /api/intrusion_detection
      • Configure Intrusion Detection – via /api/configure_intrusion_detection

Rapid Recovery

    • New Rapid Recovery version 20240415 has been released
    • The new Rapid Recovery disk-on-key is divided into two partitions. The second, bigger partition, is formatted as an exFAT file, removing the 4GB file size limit, which was the upper limit for the previous Rapid Recovery versions.
    • Rapid Recovery is now based on the Debian 12 operating system
    • The new Rapid Recovery DOK is required for backup/restore operations of Xorcom Debian12-based Complete PBX software and can also be used for older CentOS7-based systems.
    • Instructions for upgrading the older DOK to the new Rapid Recovery version will be published later.

Bug Fixes

  • StatExplorer
    • Missing pause duration when “Display all duration as seconds” is enabled on agents.
    • Missing date on calls on “Calls:  Missed called to callback” report.
    • Missing agent name on “Agents:  Calls timeout by agent” report (graph).
    • “Queues:  Weekly summary” report is empty in some cases.
  • Teams Connect – in some cases, users were not being added.
  • The Apply icon button doesn’t show when updating Portal user settings (timezone)
  • The Supervision, Statexplorer, and Wallboards are now started properly in the Twinstar environment when the backup server is activated.
  • Rapid Recovery
    • Wrong handling of custom exclusion setting files
    • Backup of unnecessary files
