The Blue Steel 4000 (CXT4000) is a heavy-duty, standalone, pre-configured, out-of-the-box featuring Xorcom CompletePBX 5 management interface. The CXT4000 features an Intel Xeon Processor E-2124G 8M Cache (3.46 GHz), hot swappable disk drives, and two built-in redundant power supplies supporting up to four Astribank units. The CXT4000 may be equipped with up to 32 analog ports, up to eight BRIISDN ports, and up to 4 E1/T1 PRI, T1 CAS or E1 R2 ports in a single, 19″ 2U chassis. Additional PSTN/analog phone ports can be provided by connecting external Astribank units via the USB2 ports to support up to 960 PSTN/analog phones ports, up to 24 E1 R2 / T1 PRI ports, up to 1500 users and up to 880 concurrent calls.

CXT4000 enterprise phone system series supports up to 1500 users and up to 880 concurrent calls in normal office settings. In hybrid settings it can support up to 960 analog extensions (using Astribank telephony interfaces) which makes it perfect for implementations with hight-density existing infrastructure that is costly to replace, such as in some hotels, hospitals and other organizations. CXT4000 also supports up to 24 PRI lines.
Running CompletePBX operating system, it provides full featured enterprise level phone system.
Like the CXT3000, CXT4000 Blue Steel series provides additional hot-swappable SSDs and power supplies, IPMI interface and redundant power feed for up to four Astribank telephony interface units, which makes it highly suited for all mission critical applications including big call centers.
